Ingredients
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the dough and spread minced garlic evenly.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  6. Arrange the sliced tomatoes on top of the sauce.
  7. Add the sliced mozzarella on top of the tomatoes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove the pizza from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves.
